Description
With this feature, you could monitor the line status on an IP phone, so when there is ongoing call through trunk line, BLF key on the phone will turn red and turn green if it's free. Also it's possible to seize the line to make outbound call when dialing trunk name from the phone by function key. For SIP trunk with multiple channels, as long as there is a call in one channel, the key will turn red.

Steps (Take sip trunk for example)
Step 1. Check the trunk name on Yeastar P-Series VoIP PBX.
Step 2. Configure DSS key on IP phone, set up the "Value" field with the name of trunk.

Result
When it is free and no ongoing calls through trunk, BLF turns green.
When it is busy and any ongoing call through trunk, BLF turns red.
When want to seize the trunk to make calls, just slightly tap on the function key, by default it will notify you the prompt "please enter the number you want to dial" and you can follow this acticle to remove it if have to.
