Remove BLF Seize Line Prompt

Applicability

• Model: S-Series, P-Series
• Firmware: Any

Symptom

While when you press the BLF key, you would hear the prompt “Please enter the number you want to dial” which is annoying sometimes.

Solution

Try to log in the FTP folder by following this article: How to Login the FTP Server of S-Series VoIP PBX

The desired folder is: ftp://{PBX IP Address}/ysapps/pbxcenter/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/record/

Then delete the file "ls_builtin_dialpormpt.wav".

You might encounter the issue that you are forced to log in by a web browser rather than by the Explorer. In the situation, you have no option to delete files. You can refer to this solution FTP Folder Keeps Opening by Web Browser

Note: if you perform upgrade, the operation would lose effect. You would need to apply this solution again.
