On the S-series, a user can record and activate a temp greeting via the phone/VM menu.
Please add this to the P-series. Not all users or companies want their users drilling into Linkus apps or web portals. Just need basic functionality.

Hi Devin, Do you want to use the VM menu to record the greetings?

*2 for extension voicemail menu is available in the P series PBX, is it what you need or something else?
Hi Eric,
In that tree you will notice a "Temporary" Greeting is not an option like it is in the S-Series. The S-series has option 0 to record the temp greeting, while it is recorded it overrides the other greetings. You must delete it in order to deactivate it.
That greeting is a common request with our clients and worth while noting most every phone system has that option.
Hi Devin,
It is the default greeting in the voicemail menu, do you test it?
I agree with Eric.
You can't think of the P series as a beefed up S series. It handles status differently. Traditionally in Asterisk engines, you have a SIP NOTIFY to tell you the status of various conditions, and return codes, such as 486.
Now, this handling is done by CTI and RTC. It allows for a greater function but is different to the way S series handles it.
With that said I also agree Devin that you may not need added complexity. The P series as Eric has suggested can play a default greeting when others don't exist. This will work with your requirement.
