Hello, I have a S300 as my Headquarters, and I want to connect an P550 as branch office but I didn't find the option on P550.
It's possible or not connect P550 to S300?

Hi Marco,
The P series PBX does not support the multisite feature yet, you can use the sip trunk to integrate two PBXs.
Hi Eric.
Thanks, I'll do it on that way.
Hi,
I have P570 at main office and a P560 at the branch. Both have their own PSTN lines and IVR. I only want to connect them for internal calls. We already have a site-to-site vpn through 2 FortiGate firewalls.
But which SIP Trunk Type should I choose? Register or Peer trunk? What should I enter as host?
Please give me a nudge to the right direction.
Never mind, I did it already. Created Peer trunks at both ends, with eachother's IP as Host IP and local gateway as Domain.
After that, made a new Outbound route and added all users, and it worked. AT least as test. Will check in real life when both PBX are online this weekend.
Hi Winston,
For the sip trunk type, when you have public IP for both PBX the peer trunk will work.
If you have only one public for the PBX but other devices don't, you can set up the account trunk on the PBX and other devices use the register trunk to connect.
Do you have a timeline on when the multi-site will be released? We would like to connect it to an S100.
Thank you
Hi Darryl,
The multisite feature in P will not able to connect to S PBX. We will add features like sharing BLF, presence status, and trunk sharing feature which is not compatible with S PBX. About the timeline I am not very sure about this, maybe in the middle of next year.
Can you elaborate on setting up a SIP trunk in a VPN environment? What will be the limitations?
Hi Darryl,
Do you meeting any problem when setting up the trunk?
No matter in the VPN environment or not we need to make sure the two PBXs can reach each other via the port for sip and port range for RTP.
Good day.
What would be the best way to link 2 x P550 and 1 x S50.
The client has a VPN in place and we can ping to the different schools, however i would like to extension dial each school.
What would be the way forward please.
Thank you.

Is there a step by step guide that we could work off possibly?
We are on the process of purchasing P560 for HQ. we have a branch who has a S100 which is running on the same network via VPN, and we need to interconnect. is this possible or we should just buy the S300 instead to accomplish the goal?
If P560 can meet your feature requirements, it is a better choice. Just use peer trunk to integrate P560 and S100.
Hi Eric,
Thanks for responsding! would there be any limitation or major difference if we use Peer trunk instead of the multisite interconnect?
