Call extensions directly

Hi everyone,

I have a question. Is it possible to call an extension directly? I mean to add extension number after phone number [DID number] + [extension] exemple. 0455555555301 when 0455555555 is a DID and 301 is a extension.

I'm using P-Series Cloud Edition

After tests, if I call that number, I still go to my PBX, but to main number that is directed to IVR.

I do not want the clients to need to chose extension after going to IVR but directly as a phone number.

Is it possible at all, or am I going o need range of numbers from my SIP Trunk provider?

  I think you can achieve this with Match DID Pattern to Extensions

  Thank You for your input.

  Actually I have a client that has thair DID number, but simply by adding extension number (in thair case 2 caraters... another problem) at the end of the number, they can call extension directly.

  They are not with us yet, we're working on it, but they want to keep thair numbers as they are  which is a problem for us at this point.

  Ex.:

  number with country code +33 + 8 digits is a general number

  They have +33 + 8 digits + 2 digits of thair extension to call directly.

  So when someone is calling +33 + 10 digits they call the extension directly

  My copany is working with Yeastar if it is possible to apply this solution, but I try to find a solution on my own in the meantine.

  I know that alternative is IVR to general ligne, ant then choose extension, but this is not what client wants, and client is always wright ;)

  Hi Marek, i think this is not problem, you can achieve this.

  First of all you need to be sure how your provider passes you the DID, if your provider passes you the di with the + in front, then configure your incoming route as shown in the image.
  In the example, let's assume that your customer has two-digit extensions from 10 to 99 and your provider gives you 100 numbers on the sip trunk, for example from +33024484(00) to +33024484(99)
  Configuring as shown in the image if someone calls +3302448400 the call will be directed to extension 10 if someone calls the number +3302448401 the call will be directed to extension 11, if someone calls the number +3302448402 the call will be directed to extension 12 and so on.

   

  Then go to the menu, pbx settings-sip settings-advanced and in the "get DID from" field select the "To" header field
