Gmail Email Sent Failure on Yeastar from May 30, 2022

 

Applicability

  • Model: S-Series, P-Series (Including cloud PBX)
  • Firmware version: Any
  • Email Account: Gmail

 

Symptom

  • Failed to receive voicemail to email from Gmail set on PBX.
  • Failed to receive notification email from Gmail set on PBX.

 

Cause

From May 30, 2022, Google no longer supports the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password.
