3. Call Forward - External incoming call forwarded/transferred to a custom external number

Go to Settings-> PBX-> Trunks-> Edit Voip trunk-> Advanced-> Transfer Parameters, select the "The Originator Caller ID"  for one of the fields: Diversion, Remote Party ID, P Asserted Identity or P Preferred Identity parameter.  A common setup is

  • From -> Default
  • Diversion -> The Originator Caller ID

Note: this solution requires the support of the carrier that the carrier can read the Diversion for example as the caller ID rather than reading From header.

Forwarding Setup Reference

Go to Settings-> PBX-> Extension-> Edit selected Extension-> Presence-> Call Forwarding, enable the Always, No Answer or Busy, and then, select the target Custom or Mobile number. It can be an extension number or external number.
