Private SIP Trunk Registration Failure - Provider Requires Static Source Port 5060 of SIP Packets

Problem Description

Private SIP trunk registered failed in PBX.

Analysis

As per PCAP file captured in PBX, it could see PBX kept sending REGISTER packet from port 5062 to provider while provider didn't reply any infos to PBX.

In general PBX should use port 5060 to send SIP packet, due to local SIP port is enabled in PBX so PBX used a random source port to send SIP packet.

After confirmation from provider, they doesn't allow REGISTER packet from a random source SIP port.

Solution

Disabled Local SIP Port in PBX.
