Trunk connection failure
- Check Cable Connection:
- Make sure you are using E1 Cross-Over cable.
- Swap E1 Cable.
- Check if there exist physical damage on E1 port.
- Check parameter configuration, especially the Variant.
Inbound Call Failure
- Check trunk connection.
- Check line service is available or not with the carrier.
- Check if caller dialed correct line number and inbound route settings.
- Check if MFC/R2 trunk DNIS value is correct is right or not.
- Check inbound blacklist number setting.

- Screen shots of trunk configuration and inbound route settings / E1 to SIP route settings
- System log or Asterisk CLI log with R2 debug. You could refer this article to get the MFC/R2 Logging
Outbound Call Failure
- Check trunk connection.
- Check line service is available or not with the carrier.
- Check if caller dialed the correct number, like area cod and outbound route settings
- Check outbound restriction for Series or duration limit for TE
- Check outbound blacklist number settings
