Here are some quick responses for the most common questions on LCS (Linkus Cloud Service).

This Section will be updated from time to time.

If you want to apply the LCS, make sure PBX firmware version must be 30.10.0.9 or later.

Question: How to apply LCS?

Answer: LCS is 30 days free-trial. After 30 days, the service need to be purchased. Here is the method on how to enable LCS on S-series PBX.

Question:Does LCS support IM feature?

Answer: LCS could support IM feature.

The Chat function should be enabled on web setting setting first.

Question: Does LCS need license to be activated after I purchased?

Answer: The LCS do not need license to activate, after you purchase the LCS, you will get the following hint automatically which shows on Linkus Server Setting page.

For example: You have subscribed to Linkus Cloud Service. The subscription will end on XXX.XX.XX.
So you could try to use the LCS service by the following method:

Question: CRM integration with LCS

Answer: For the time being, LCS could be integrated with Google Contacts and Outlook.

In the next release of Linkus, LCS will also support the integration with Salesforce and dynamics 365.  (The latest Linkus version is 2.0.15)

Question: After applying LCS, do I need map port on the router for remote LCS client?

Answer: Port forwarding is not needed, you could login LCS client wherever you are.

Question: Why I can't login Linkus Desktop as the following figure shows?

Answer: As the Linkus Server version is somewhat dated, you could upgrade PBX firmware version and Linkus app in APP Center, then try to login again.

Question: Does Linkus support modification of audio codec?

Answer: No, currently Linkus is only compatible with codec iLBC.

Question:  If I enable Hot Standby feature with two PBX, for LCS, do I need purchase the service on both devices?

Answer: Yes, the Linkus Cloud Service should be purchased on both devices when you enable HOT Standby feature.
