How to Get Linkus Debug Logs

Environment

  • PBX firmware version: 30.11.0.8
  • Windows client version: 1.6.10
  • Android client version: 2.6.8
  • iOS client version: 2.6.7
  • Mac client version: 1.6.9

 

Log capture tips: usually you need to replicate the issue before you download the logs. Make sure your logs has included with issues.

 

1. PBX 

Problems need to provide the log from PBX:

1) LCS related issue, like login failed when using LCS, Expiration date does not display.

Download the system log on Maintenance and post us the logs.

2. Windows Client

Problems need to provide the log from windows client:

1) Windows Client related issue, like APP crashed, register failed, call failed.

Right click the Linkus in task bar. Click the "View Logs".

Then it would automatically open the log folder. Exit Linkus Desktop app, compress the logs folder and post it to us.

 

If you are using old version, try to follow the way to find the logs:

Directory: %appdata%\Linkus

For example, C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Linkus\logs

Compress the logs folder and post to us.

 

3. Android & iOS Clients

Problems need to provide the log from mobile client:

1) If you have the issue after you able to loign like: APP crash, call failure.

Go to the menu to report the problem: Me >  Help & Feedback > Report a Problem

Choose the the issue type accordingly, and enter the problem description. It's better to have the information when you make the call or the time of the issue.

After report, Linkus APP will send the logs to our log server.

2) If you login failure, go to the login interface. Tap "Help & Feedback" option to report the problem.

4. Mac Client

Go > Go to Folder : ~/Library/Logs

Compress Linkus folder and post to us.

    Hi Pixy,

    I cannot ask users to get logs from their Linkus mobile because of remote locations and hybrid workers. 

    Can you test the roaming in your lab?
