Call Service

Note that only GSM gateway supports this feature.

Enable call service

  • 1.1 GSM gateway sends the AT command to GSM enable call service.
  • 1.2 GSM modules sends the call service request to cellular network.
  • 1.3 Cellular network returns result of request.
  • 1.4 GSM module returns result to GSM gateway

No Answer Forward call flow

  • 1.1 User sends call request to cellular network.
  • 1.2 Cellular network sends call request to GSM module.
  • 1.3 GSM module sends call request to GSM gateway.
  • 1.4 GSM gateway returns No Answer signaling to GSM module.
  • 1.5 GSM module returns No Answer signaling to cellular network.
  • 1.6 Cellular network forwards the call to number previously configured.

When Busy Forward call flow

  • 2.1 User sends call request to cellular network.
  • 2.2 Cellular network detect the user is busy.
  • 2.3 GSM module would NOT return Busy signaling to cellular network.
  • 2.4 Cellular network forwards the call to number previously configured.

Note: Call Waiting should be disabled for the SIM card, or the Busy Forward would not work.

Always Forward & Unreachable Forward call flow

  • 3.1 User sends call request to cellular network.
  • 3.2 Cellular network forwards the call to number previously configured.

CLIR call flow

  • 4.1 SIP device sends call request to GSM gateway.
  • 4.2 GSM gateway sends call request to GSM module.
  • 4.3 GSM module sends call request to cellular network.
  • 4.4 Cellular network sends the call to user with CLIR.

Call service configuration

Check the setting that is related with the call service function. (Path: Gateway> Mobile List> Mobile list> Call Control)
