Introduction
MyPBX can acts as a FXO2VoIP gateway or a VoIP2FXO gateway. As a FXO2VoIP Gateway, it will helps to extend a PABX's VoIP trunk. Meanwhile, MyPBX will extend an IPPBX's PSTN trunk if it is used as a VoIP2FXO gateway.
About Part 2--Setup MyPBX to act as a VoIP2FXO gateway, please refer the below link:https://support.yeastar.com/hc/en-us/articles/217532238
Part 1. Setup MyPBX to act as a FXO2VoIP gateway
Description:
This application note shows how to use MyPBX as an analog gateway for PABX. With this configuration, we can make and receive calls using analog phones of PABX via sip trunks of MyPBX through the PSTN line connected between them.
Flowchart for connection:
1. Make outgoing calls using PABX’s extension via SIP trunk of MyPBX
Below are the steps to configure Analog PABX and MyPBX, so that we can dial out via the SIP trunk of MyPBX. Before configuring, please connect PABX FXS port to MyPBX FXO port with the PSTN line.
Flowchart:
As the picture shows, we will call from extension 101 to the FXS extension 104 whose port is connected to MyPBX FXO port. After dialing the extension 104, the call will go to MyPBX inbound route through the PSTN line. Here we set the inbound route's destination to a DISA. On entering the DISA, a ringtone will be heard, then we will dial the number out through the SIP trunk.
1.1 MyPBX Configuration
1) Create an outbound route for SIP trunks in MyPBX.

2) Create a DISA for the outbound route on MyPBX.
Figure 2 DISA for the Outbound Route
3)Create one inbound route for the PSTN line and set the destination to the DISA created above, which will allow PABX extensions to call into MyPBX and dial out through the SIP trunk.

1.2 PABX Configuration
In PABX, you should dial the FXS extension, whose FXS port is connected to MyPBX FXO port. After the call is connected, you will hear the dial tone, then you can dial the number through the SIP trunk on MyPBX.
2. Receive incoming calls from SIP trunks of MyPBX at PABX’s side
To receive incoming calls from SIP trunks of MyPBX at PABX's side, we should connect MyPBX FXO port to PABX FXS port. Here we have two solutions for you. One is inbound route to outbound route mode, the other one is inbound to DISA mode.
Choose one of the two modes to configure.
2.1 Inbound Route to Outbound Route Mode
As the picture shows, the caller outside will call in the SIP trunk on MyPBX. Here we set the inbound route destination to the outbound route which will route the call to the PABX.
In this mode, you can only call a specific extension on the PABX.
2.1.1 MyPBX Configuration
1) Create an outbound route for the PSTN line to PABX on MyPBX. Here we set "Prepend these digits 101 before dialing", 101 is the extension number of PABX. You can enter any one of the PABX's extension numbers, then the call will reach the number you set.

3)Create an inbound route for the SIP trunk and set the destination to the outbound route we created above.

2.1.2 PABX Configuration
In PABX side, we needn't do any configuration.
2.2 Inbound Route to DISA Mode
As the picture shows, the caller outside will call in the SIP trunk on MyPBX. Here we set the destination to a DISA for the inbound route. When the caller hears the ring tone, he will be able to call any extension on the PABX.
Configuring MyPBX in this mode, will helps you to dial any extension of PABX. The shortcoming is that you need a second dial to reach the extension.
2.2.1 MyPBX Configuration
1) Create an outbound route for the PSTN line to PABX on MyPBX.

2)Create a DISA for the outbound route "ToPABX" we just created above.

3)Create an inbound route for the SIP trunk and set the destination to the DISA, which will help the caller call to the PABX extensions after hearing the ringtone.

2.2.2 PABX Configuration
In PABX side, we needn't do any configuration.
