How to Provision Mitel Phones by Yeastar P-Series PBX Auto Provisioning

Applicability

• PBX model: P-Series
• Mitel model: 68XX, 69XX series in our supported list (SIP firmware based)
• Firmware version: X.9.0.22
• Template version: Check latest template on Repository menu of Auto Provisioning feature.

 

 

Procedure

1. For Cloud PBX

Add the Mitel phone MAC on PBX Auto Provisioning menu.

Assign extension number and configure other options.

 

Get the provisioning link, and this link is same for all phone that provisioned in the same PBX.

 

DHCP method

1) If you have your own DHCP server.

Copy the provisioning link, add option 66 on the router for the DHCP server setting.

If you use PBX as DHCP server, then do nothing changed for DHCP server settings.

 

 

 

2) Login the Mitel phone's web interface to disable Validate Certificate option.

Mitel phone login method:

URL: https://your phone's IP address

Username: admin

Password: 22222  or your custom password you have set before

 

3) Reboot your phone to finish the provisioning.

 

Manual method

This method is only available for P-Series Cloud PBX. And it's fit for a single phone test without router modification.

 

1）Login the Mitel phone's web interface to disable Validate Certificate option.

Mitel phone login method:

URL: https://your phone's IP address

Username: admin

Password: 22222  or your custom password you have set before

 

2）Fill in the provisioning Linkus manually.

Refer to the following format:

• HTTPS server: pixis.myycm.yeastarcloud.com
• HTTPS path: api/autoprovision/et8kneQ5tYwukP57
• HTTPS port: 443

3) Reboot your phone to finish the provisioning.

2. For On Premise PBX

Note that On Premise PBX only support DHCP provisioning method.

DHCP method

1) Add the Mitel phone MAC on PBX Auto Provisioning menu.

Assign extension number and configure other options.

Get the provisioning link, and this link is same for all phone that provisioned in the same PBX.

2) Copy the provisioning link, add option 66 on the router for the DHCP server setting.

3) Reboot your phone to finish the provisioning.

Some features are limited. Please note.

1. LDAP phonebook is not supported.
