How to connect Fritz!Box to Yeastar FXS gateway

1. Introduction

This application note shows how to connect Fritz!Box to Yeastar FXS gateway. In this guide, we will take Yeastar TA200 and TA400 as an example. 

Target：

• Make calls between Fritz!Box and Yeastar FXS gateway

Description：

• IP address of Fritz!Box: 192.168.178.1

 

2. Connect Fritz!Box to Yeastar FXS gateway

2.1 Create an extension on Fritz!Box

Path: Telephony Devices->Configure New Device

Select ‘Telephone (with or without answering machine)’ and go to Next

Select ‘LAN/Wi-Fi(IP telephone)’ and name the extension

Create Username and Password for the extension

Select a trunk for making outgoing calls (If you don't sure, you can select anyone you want, you can change it later)

Select accept incoming calls

Apply the changes

Then you will get the below page

 

 

2.2 Register extension on Yeastar FXS gateway

For TA100/200

Note:

1. The Caller ID Number and DID Number should be the same as the extension Username.

2. The Keep Alive Type should be disabled. 

Path: Gateway->FXS Port

 

For TA400/800/1600/2400/3200

Note:

1. The Caller ID Number and DID Number should be the same as the extension Username.

2. The Keep Alive Type should be disabled. 

1. Create a VoIP Server

Path: Gateway->VoIP Settings->VoIP Server Settings

2. Configure the FXS port

Path: Gateway->Port List
