Background
Some users reported they were unable to assign the IP address for Yeastar TA FXS gateways by their routers or DHCP server. In this guide, we will show you another method to make it work.
Meanwhile, this guide is available for other Yeastar PBX or gateway which get IP address by DHCP.
Preparation
Tool: Tftpd32 or Tftpd64
Operating System: Windows OS
Applicable products: Yeastar TA FXS gateways that request IP address by DHCP method
Procedure
Step 1: Open the Tftpd32 (if your system version is 64-bit,change Tftpd64). Click “Settings”.
Step 2: Configure the DHCP Server, especially: IP pool start address, Def.router(Def.Gateway), Mask.
The start address must be in the same network segment with PC. Click “ok” if you have done.
The PC’s network information as shown below:
Step 3: Connect Yeastar TA FXS gateways(LAN Port) to PC with Ethernet cable.
Step 4: Power on the Yeastar TA FXS gateways, until it request IP address from DHCP Server successfully.
Yeastar TA FXS gateways has been assigned with IP address “192.168.1.2” from DHCP Server as seen above.
Step 5：Login the web user interface of Yeastar TA FXS gateways and configure settings as required.
