This article introduces how to connect Yeastar TA200 and S-Series VoIP PBX. We tested with:
- TA200: firmware version 44.19.0.30; IP address: 192.168.9.63
- S100: firmware version 30.3.0.17; IP address: 192.168.9.144
After connecting TA200 and S100, the phones connected to the TA200 will be treated as S-Series IPPBX's extensions. The following features can be achieved:
- Make calls between TA200 and S100
- Receive inbound calls on the TA200's analog phones
- Make outbound calls from TA200's analog phones through S100's trunks
This article will be apply to other model of Yeastar TA FXS VoIP gateway and S-Series VoIP PBX.
Note: if your TA gateway and S-Series IPPBX are in different locations, you need to use the public IP address or domain to connect the two devices.
Step 1. Log in S-Series IPPBX, create a SIP extension on S100. We will use the extension to register on TA200. Here we create Extension 1012.
Step 2. On the extension 1012 edit page, click "Call Permission", select outbound routes allowed for the extension user, so that the user could make outbound calls.
Step 3. Log in TA200 web user interface, go to "Gateway > Port Settings > FXS Port",choose an FXS port to edit.
Step 4. Choose Register Mode as "Port Register", fill in the extension details and IP address of S100.
Step 5. Click "Dial Plan" tab, set a dial plan for the FXS port. You must dial numbers according to the dial plan, or calls will fail. Here we leave the default dial plan settings, you will dial numbers as what you do on S100's extensions.
Step 6. Click "Save" and "Apply".
Step 7. Click "Status" to check the FXS port status, if the Status shows "OK", the FXS port is registered successfully on S100.
Now you can use the TA200's analog phone to make and receive calls.
