I have a new p series system. I have a company that does a lot of voicemail transferring. I have Yealink T5 series phones. Right now you press transfer *2 , Ext number, Transfer B. That if fine but coming form a digital system they have a 1 touch direct voicemail key. And now going to this new system to them thats a lot of button pressing to do the same thing. Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks

Larry Neblett Sorry, but I am not following the scenario with the old system. They had a single (1 touch) key that would automatically transfer a call into "ANY" extension's voice mail box? I assume they had to dial an extension number and possible a dial or transfer button in addition to the "1 touch" key? I am trying to understand that if I had a call come in and needed to transfer the call to the voicemail of extension 100, exactly how many keys must be pressed on both systems to accomplish same.

ANACOMM SYSTEMS - Andrew Waddle Sorry let me clarify my bad. on the digital system 1 key (vtrsf) and then ext number. on the P series with Yealink phones there is a lot of pressing to accomplish this.
Transfer *2 the ext number and then transfer b.
It is what it is Digital systems have been around for ever and they have it figured out. I am just trying to find out a short cut to accomplish the same on the P series.
Also I want to thank you Larry for all you help you alway reply to my post as Im trying to figure this all out. Your help don't go un noticed

Larry Neblett OK, it is the pause function that the analog system allowed for the dedicated key that allowed the entry of the extension.
You may refer to the document link below as the feature is phone controlled. Yealink allows for custom DSS key functionality. Hopefully, you can find the magic in the doc, or alternatively, submit a query to the Yealink forum or search same as I am guessing someone else has already asked the same or similar question. Good luck.
