Eric Jiang Hi Pergola, I can see you already logged a ticket to our system the engineer will answer your questions there. I think we should support it but we may need to have a test.

Pergola Fabio No feedback yet on ticket for early video...
Another question: when a intercom is configured as SIP... Is it still possible to call the hikvison indoor stations by its default protocol (hik protocol) and other Yeastar sip clients?
So it actually calls 2 numbers... Indoor stations and SIP clients?

Eric Jiang I think it will use sip only when you switch it on in the hikvision devices, only the sip calls.

Pergola Fabio Ok, then i need the early video / instant communication :-)
I'll wait on a response
Thnx

JUAN MADRID Hi, as far as I know for the early media o video preview you will need that the SIP server/PABX has that feature enabled and the reception terminal (sip phone) has it enable. It is not a standard. For instance with MEET IP system from FERMAX you can get early preview in up to 8 different devices using SIP protocol, but if a server is in the middle the server and the extension should allow it, and it is required to test it.

Pergola Fabio Hey JUAN MADRID
The Problem is the PBX (Asterisk) , I have enabled eraly video on it, it works, but Asterisk or any other PBX are not able to handle early media when using dialgroups/queues/follow me , if you call multiple endpoints, early video is gone
It only works on a 1-1 call

JUAN MADRID I think this is important for SIP server manufacturers to allow the early media between extensions. I think it is related with the SDP 183 packet
