How to properly shutdown the S100

Hi, i am planning to add some module in my S100. is there a way to properly shutdown the S100?

any advice or help would be really much appreciated.

Usually, we just power off directly, if you really concern about something going wrong you can connect to the device via ssh and run the command 'sync' and power off.
