I have a question for understanding.
If i activate the Mobility Extension and set Ring simultaneously, the mobile phone rings for incoming calls.
Technically, that's a call forwarding right?
So when I take the call on the mobile phone, it comes from the Yeastar PBX. So this forwards the call to my mobile phone.
So there are costs from the Provider for the Call involved, right?

The call is coming into the PBX, so that is coming in from one provider and then you are asking the PBX to take control of the call and send the call out to your cell. In essence, this is two distinct calls as the PBX is sitting in between the two calls and acting as a relay agent. In doing so, it has to create a new call in order to send to the cell and the costs for doing so are controlled by the provider handling the second call. Additionally, assuming you have a s20, for example, which supports 10 calls at a time, this will now use 2 of the 10 when the cell answers.

Well, first the mobility aspect and the ring simultaneously function are not tied together and are different functions although under the same heading.
Mobility allows you dial in from a cell and become a part of the phone system in that you can dial extensions and the like. In essence, you can use the PBX to a large degree as if you are at your desk phone.
Ring simultaneously allows an incoming call to your extension to ring at another number (not necessarily a cell, but whatever external number you enter in the mobile number field) at the same time.
They are cataloged under mobility as both settings have to do with the idea of an external source or destination that uses some feature of the PBX to facilitate call handling.
Call forwarding under presence may go to VM, another extension or other internal resource or even an external number, but for ease of understanding, the mobility implies only external.
As to your cost issue, I guess that depends on you and your cellular plan. Will you will always be on Wi-Fi and, if not, does your cellular provider charge for data and/or have data limits? Not everyone may have it forward to a cell or perhaps they have an unlimited cell plan.
The PBX was designed to work in the global telephone market so that no matter what the connectivity, it could connect somehow.. The decision of what's best is up to each user and their particular need/scenario as to what is available and at what cost.
