Hot standby with PSTN lines

Greeting to the community,
Sorry about my English.
I would like to know if it is possible to configure the Failover or the Hot standby taking into account the PSTN lines for example.
Let me explain: suppose I have IPPBX S100, i configure the hot Standby, it works. But on the Primary I have a PSTN line, which allows to make and receive external calls. If the primary breaks down, the secondary will take its place but will not be able to manage the PSTN line therefore not incoming and outgoing calls.
How do we handle this case?
- Manually unplug the line on the primary and fart it on the secondary?
- Automatically? And with what equipment?

  While I have not tried it, presumably you might be able to take a line splitter and feed both S100 the PSTN lines at the same time. 

   

  I would hope that the unit in standby would not answer any call, but this is the part that I do not know. A couple of dollars spent and you will know.

  A splitter might be a choice, but I haven't tried it before neither. Is there anybody could answer this?

  Hi Pali,

  you will need use a PRI/BRI Gateway to convert into SIP connection. After that you can create SIP trunk to Pri Server and Sec Server so that the failover work well. It will be automatic switching.
