Linkus license model

Hello everybody,

If I decide to use the Linkus Cloud Service, are there only the license packages based on the PBX? Or is there a license model per user?

I ask for the following reason:
I only have 8 clients / IP phones, but an S20 is for 20 users and therefore also the Linkus license, but I only need 8.

Next problem. I am forced to buy an S50 because only it supports hot desking.
Now I would have to buy an even more expensive S50 Linkus license. Although I still use 8 IP Phones.

The license model is unfair :)
Is there a solution for this?

  It is a sign of the times that just about everything is going to a subscription based model. The options you pointed out are the only ones available at the moment. There is nothing that says that you have to use the service and the hotdesking function was a recent addition to the product lineup. As to why hotdesking is not offered in the S20, I can only guess that it was not envisioned that such a small PBX (20 user/10call) would have such a need and perhaps the hardware is limited in its ability of being able to accommodate the function ( I tend to doubt this, but maybe). Of course, the possibility exists that the marketing plan calls for that which you are concerned about - the more features desired, the more costly the unit will need to be.

  I do understand were you are coming from, but I would say that the price I feel is really fair even no you have to but the full blown
