Restricting internal calls between extension groups

It would be nice to prevent some extension groups such as CEO, Managers, Chiefs, Assistants from being called by everyone. Yeastar S-Series and K2

  If you make an peer trunk you should achieve that i guess:

   

  Create an outbound route that catches the extension range, for example 1100-1109.

  Dial pattern should be 110X then.

   

  The trunk should be a peer trunk, and inbound route for this peertrunk catches all calls with "." as DID pattern.

  In the inbound route direct the call to an hangup of IVR with an announcement, followed by hangup.

   

  Add this route out to the extensions that are prohibited to call the 1100-1109 range.

   

  Integrated it before to achieve antother goal, and works like a charme ;)

  customers keep asking about this feature. is it really so hard to develop?

  Today I get an question about that. Please take this request serious.

  For a university, it is a problem for students to call the rector from any phone.

  You can log in with the user extension and set whitelist/blacklist. Would be great to have this option from Admin.
