I'm about to deploy a Yeastar S300 in a hotel environment. When testing the checkout feature, it is supposed to delete the current voicemails and reset the password back to default.
Is there something I am missing?

Other systems I have used not only do as you have indicated, but also remove all outbound calling capability with the exception of being able to dial an emergency number. Internal calling is still allowed so that hotel staff can still call down to the front desk/maintenance/house cleaning, etc..
As far as the VM PIN code, in my other setups I have it such that the PIN code is not required. It is unlikely that guests would know or try to reach the VM from anything other than their guest room phone and further unlikely that if a PIN is used, that they would ever remember it.
Are you having issues with the module...given the statement?

Thank you for response. I have the system set so it cant make calls once checked out. How can I set extension not use a password when checking voicemail?
Im using the S100 (Expansion) and NeoGateways. does it clear the previous messages upon check out?
Just enter a null entry for the VM PIN code. As far as clearing, it should, but I have not used the YS PBX in a hotel environment yet. I use other systems.
Is it not doing a clear? You should be able to test it.
Larry
Thank you so much for the null tip. that worked very well.
