Yeastar S100 integration with PMS to display guest name on the phone.

Dear All,

We have installed a Yeastar S100 at site and client wants to the guest name to be shown on the phone whenever a guest checks-in.

Please help and advise on how to achieve it.

  Yet oddly enough, you do not mention the PMS in use or the phone make and model. We know nothing about the setup, so a solution is pretty hard to come by. Please tell us more.

  Hi Larry,

  Thank you for taking time to respond.

  1. The handset is Yealink SIP-T21  and the PBX is Yeastar VoIP, S100.
  2. The hotel software is INCEPTIO ( it can be integrated with any PBX working on FIAS protocol).

  Kindly Advise on how to achieve it.

  As I know Yeastar doesn't support FIAS directly. They use middleware solution cHar.

  You can query Yeastar support to see if cHar is able to integrate with INCEPTIO.

  Hi, I too often find myself in these problems since I manage several hotels in Sicily in maintenance. It would be really fantastic if Yeastar directly managed the FIAS protocol for connections with PMS (like Opera, fidelio ...). A strength that would give an extra advantage in installations. Example, I had to install a Mitel MiVoice instead of Yeastar in two hotels of the Belmond chain here in Sicily, as Yeastar does not directly support FIAS protocols. I hope that Yeastar will soon change course.
