I have many customers beg me to set up BLF keys so when they are pushed it does a one-touch voice Intercom call to that extension (instead of a Ringing call).
If I configure a BLF key for, let's say, extension 1005 it will light up when extension 1005 is on a call, I can use it as a one-touch to transfer a call to that extension, and I can press it to ring 1005 phone for a conversation. If I configure the BLF for *51005, it doesn't work as a BLF any more.
What I want is the Yeastar to allow me to configure the button as a BLF for *51005. This way, it will light up when extension 1005 is on a call, I can use it as a one-touch to transfer a call with a voice-announce, and I can press that button to voice-Intercom extension 1005 and shout at them without their need to pickup the phone. If this is possible to now program a key for *2 + extension number BLF, why can I not program the key as *5 + extension number for one-touch voice Intercom?
