I am able to go into the pbx and change the caller ID name, but I have been unable to change the name that is displayed on the phone I am calling from. Any help would be appreciated,

  Could you clarify? I am not following the expectation of  "unable to change the name that is displayed on the phone I am calling from" -

  Do you mean that when calling another extension, that the other (called) extension is not displaying the name of the calling extension, it only shows the caller's extension number?

  or - 

  Are you wanting to see the extension and name of the extension being dialed on the phone that is dialing the other extension?

   

  Also, what make and model of phone(s)?

  yes, i have the same issue, the user name is not displayed on the phone monitor.

  Do you mean the lable or display name in the phone account setting?
