Does TG200 work with only 1 antenna?

Does anybody know if the TG200 can work with only one antenna connected? The unit itself has 2 antenna connections. The TG200 will be installed inside a yacht with the antenna(s) outside in a mast. Because of limited space in the mast we would like to know if the TG200 can operate with only one antenna.

Does the second antenna connection need to be connected? If no, what are the disadvantages of not connecting the second antenna?

Worst case we could always use an antenna combiner/divider from 1:2 connections.

  I think not, I check my TG200. It is one antenna for one port. 

  If you don't connect, the signal would be weaker. register and call quality is affected.

  When it comes to RF its always best to have the antenna's loaded even if its a tiny one, this applies to routers, computers and any wireless device. I wouldn't recommend running it off just one antenna you will most likely experience dropped packets etc.
