Is it possible to set the Yeastar to make a beep or sound when paging before you start speaking.
Something to alert the people that you are about to start speaking.

Graham Aker I tried check my S20 web interface, there is not the option like you mentioned for the beep before paging.
You might consult with Yeastar support to find out if there is anyway to achieve that.

Larry Neblett Some phones have a setting to play a warning tone upon receiving a page, but this may be dependent on if the page is directed or multicast.
What you really seek is for the PBX to send a recording upon the implementation of a multicast page. In this manner you can record the "beep" to be anything you want and even have pre-recorded announcements if there is a need. Yes, this would be a feature request.....and one that most Asterisk based systems already have.

Heinrich Kotze I like the idea of being able to record or upload a sound to play before the paging happens.
Definitely a good feature request.
I will look into the option if the phone is able to play a sound before the page.
