I have here Yealink T48s and a Yealink W52 with 2 handsets. Both can be autoprovisioned.
What I don't want to succeed is to assign the same extension to all devices.
When I try to provision a device with e.g. Extension 1000, I can't provision another device with the 1000 again.
I have set the maximum allowed registrations to 5.
If I connect the second device manuel, I can of course register the 1000 again.
But I would like to do it comfortably with the autoprovisioning.
Does anyone have a tip for me or is that simply not possible?
Oh well, the numbers are assigned to a call group, which also works without problems.

Larry Neblett The number of registrations is not tied to the provisioning function. The number simply tells the PBX how many devices are allowed to connect at the same time using the same extension number.
The limitation appears to be in how Yeastar implemented the provisioning function. From what I see, the system will only allow a given extension to duplicate its own extension and other extensions not already on use.
I suggest you submit a feature request as I too would like to see this -

Marco Tesch Hi Larry,
Thanks for your feedback, I learned something new again :-)
