Looking for a door/intercom solution I was going to go with the Viking E-20B and connect it to a YS-2. I dont want to re cable the location and have Cat3 to the location. Could I program the PBX to auto dial a ring group once the button is pressed?

As I know, it is called hotline feature for analog device. I have seen this on Yeastar TA FXS gateway.
You might try to contact Yeastar team to check if it has been supported on S-Series.
In looking at the FXS extension settings for a S PBX equipped with FXS module, I do not see the hotline or auto-dial function or other named function that allows such.

Pixy I have done the set up as your instructions show having one issue
As soon as I hook up the Tip And Ring the door phone calls, the person answer but when they hang up the call doesn't disconnect.
Again the call goes out as soon as I connect the tip and ring before pressing the button any suggestion

If I am reading the manual correctly, it is the wrong device (maybe). If using an FXS port, then it is indeed wrong.
The W-3000 provides an attractive vandal resistant
stainless steel faceplate and call progress LED. The
W-Series are designed to interface directly with an
unused analog telephone line input of phone system.
One or two doorboxes can also share an existing
phone line when used with a C-1000B doorbox
controller.
When the “Call“ button is pressed, the doorbox
generates a standard or custom ring cadence of an
adjustable number of rings. For noisy environments,
the doorbox’s new louder speaker output and
“Push-to-Talk” feature can be used.
Connect to a phone system’s unused trunk input, FXO
port or a Viking C-1000B Controller
This device is for an FXO, where the ring will cause the PBX to answer and then handle accordingly. It looks like a PSTN line to the phone system. However, you need to check the specs to see if it will meet the FXO card needs.
What you seek is a handsfree telephone or call box that when the button is pushed, it goes off hook no differently than a regular analog telephone so that dial tone is present. Then, you can decide if the device will dial or if, based upon Pixy'x comments, the programming from within the PBX for the FXS port will dial. I would look for the former (device dials) as it eliminates any issue that might arise with factory reset, firmware updates or other issues that may alter the config changes of the PBX.
This might work, but you still have to worry about location/distance to ensure that the device is adequately powered from the FXS.
Larry I had a spare FXO port and tried it plunged into that and it works I push the button and it calls my ring group and when the other end hangs up it does disconnect.
