Hello everyone,
I have YEASTAR S300, TA1610 with 8 PSTN and 8 extensions. I have assigned to each extension a PSTN line.
Incoming calls work. When a call arrives, it is redirected to the corresponding extension.
Outbound calls also work but the problem is that all calls go through the same line while I have assigned to each extension a FXO line (Example : Call Destination : In IP-PORT, on the TA1610. I don’t want to use PORT GROUP

Larry Neblett What firmware? What hardware version?
-
charles BOUDIMA Firmware: 40.10.0.48
Hardware Version: V1.40 0000-0000
Thank you

Larry Neblett Get out of simple mode and see the options.
-
charles BOUDIMA Do you have any idea exactly what to do?
I had already tried the different options in "Simple mode: no", but nothing.
Maybe I’m missing something.
Thank you for your help -
Larry Neblett Well, not knowing what you have actually tried (other than different options) with regard to settings,,,,,no. I have no idea of extension numbers to what FXO you want,
-
charles BOUDIMA I’ll explain my problem again.
I have 3 extensions and 3 PSTN numbers. Each extension is associated with a PSTN line.
And I’ve got:
- Extension 1000:
Number 11 11 11 11, configured on FXO1
- Extension 2000
Number 22 22 22 22, configured on FXO2
-Extension 3000:
Number 33 33 33 33, configured on FXO3
For incoming calls it is OK. If we call 11 11 11 for example, the call is redirected to extension 1000.
But for outgoing calls, all calls go through the same FXO port, for example the FXO2 port. This makes the number displayed is always the same regardless of the extension used to call. In principle if a call is made from extension 3, the call must go through the FXO3 port and the number displayed must be 33 33 33 33. I have assigned to each extension a FXO port.
With “Simple Mode: No”, I haven’t found options that can help me; unless I configure well. -
Larry Neblett Try setting the extension number as the CID or whatever is set in the caller ID section of the extension in the PBX.
-
Riddhe M To be exact, you could set the Inbound Caller Pattern filed of the Route when it is in N-Simple mode.

charles BOUDIMA Hello, my dear,
Thank you for your help.
The Dial Patterns define the format of the numbers allowed to exit or enter, and I don’t want to control the calls or numbers that an extension can issue, but I want all the calls from extension 3000 (for example), to go through the FXO5 port.
Maybe here Inbound or Outbound Caller Pattern have another meaning. Otherwise I put in Inboud Caller Patterns the extension number and even the PSTN line number (although it doesn’t make sense) without success.
If for example, my extension is 3000, the assigned FXO port is FXO5, the line number is 33 33 33 33, what do I need to put in Inbound Caller Patterns or how do I configure.
Thank you so much -
Larry Neblett You are not working with outbound dial patterns to define which FXO port you want the extension to use. You are trying to get the device to recognize the extension that is dialing so that it can route out the desired port per your desire of one extension to one FXO.
As I assume extension 3000 could dial any number, there is no way you could input all possible numbers that might be dialed and I also assume that extension 1000 and 2000 may also have a need to dial the same outbound number at some point in time. So, the key is to tie the extension's CID to the desired FXO port. So, if the extension's CID for 3000 is blank or 3000 in the PBX, input 3000 in the CID field. If you have something else, input the exact same thing, but as this is PSTN, it should probably be the extension number.
You might also create individual SIP trunks (Voip Server) on the gateway for each extension and then create outbound rules on the PBX that will direct the calls from each extension to the desired FXO by specifying which Server each extension is dedicated to.
The outbound pattern only defines what is an acceptable dial sting that your provider will pass.

charles BOUDIMA Hello,
Sorry I’m late, I wasn’t at the office.
Thank you for your availability and assistance.
I tried to configure like you said, but still nothing.
Here are my configurations:
A) On the PBX
1- I created a SIP Trunk
2) I created two Outbounds routes for two extensions (here 2012 and 2022)
B) On the TA1610
1- I created two SIP trunk (in VOIP Trunk), one for FXO5 and the other for FXO16
2- I created in IP-PORT two routes, for FXO5 and FXO16 -
Larry Neblett I do not have a 6120, but have you followed a similar guide for the other models? You could make the port group smaller perhaps?
-
charles BOUDIMA That’s the guide I followed. With the Port Group, it works, but not like what we want. In this case, the system selected a port in the group a port according to the defined policy. This makes that the extension 2012 can call with number 33 33 33 33 and one minute later with 22 22 22 22 22.
We want the number to be fixed. Each extension with its PSTN line.I am going to continue the tests -
charles BOUDIMA Hello,
I’ve tried several configurations and options, but I can’t find a solution.
All the guides I found show only the configuration with the PORT GROUP but not how to assign to an extension a FXO port (thus a PSTN line). So TA FXO does not allow to make this configuration? -
Larry Neblett I am sorry, but I do not understand what 3333333 or 22222222 has to do with it. is that the CID/DID associated with a given PSTN line or is that a number that an extension is dialing?
I have a TA410 which I set up, which essentially has the same configuration, and I do not seem to have an issue in associating or directing an extension out a specific analog trunk.
Create a port group and specify only one port in that group =
In the IP to port:
My test extension is 3000, so when the PBX is sending the call out to the TA, it is looking for the CID of the extension. Once seen, it then routes the call to the port group which I created earlier which only has the one possible trunk that it can use. While the stratgey states round robin, that is pretty hard to do if only one trunk.
The create additional port groups using the trunks you want for a given extension and repeat -
try this and let me know.
-
Larry Neblett Any word?
-
charles BOUDIMA Hi, sorry for the delay, I was busy elsewhere.
22222222 and 33333333 are examples but these are PSTN line numbers.
I had already tried your solution (create a port group and specify only one port in that group) ; it didn’t work. But i’ll try again tomorrow.
The configurations are correct. I think it has to come from the PSTN lines, which are analog but bundled lines.
Otherwise I don’t see the problem. I’ll check with Telco.
-
charles BOUDIMA Hi,
Finally it worked. I reset the gateway and reconfigured, as you asked (exactly what I did at the beginning). But I did not use a PORT GROUP, I indicated directly the port.
Unfortunately, I didn’t know what the problem was.
Thank you very much for your assist.
