Tranfer to voicemail **

I know you can dial ** then the ext (example **221 and the call goes straight to the voicemail box of extension 221) I have been trying to program it on a button is this possible.

Answering postion

-Call comes in call is answered

-Answering position presses BLF KEY/ Speed dial that can dial the **

-Then answering position presses BLF key of user sends it straight to voicemail

Can we program a button to be the short cut to the ** so they dont need to remember the code **

Specially for staff that may cycle in and out of the position

  Also I am wonder if a short cut can be made with the voice-call *5 as well

  So user presses a KEY it dials *5 then the BLF they want to call is pressed

  The answer is no. The issue is that these are pre-programmed speed dial/DTMF "one touch" buttons. The second you press the button the programmed string is sent. It is not a press button, bring up screen or other where you can enter added info and then manually indicate the entry is complete by pressing another button to send. 

  It does sound like a nice feature, but it is a phone function and not a PBX function. So the phone manufacturers would have to modify or add the feature.
