is it use for Internet or it offer line service like SIP trunk to make calls?
Riddhe has it right in that while it is doubtful that we have direct experience with the device itself, the question is more to the point of: you seem to be interested in the device and the device has two analog telephone ports, but you have not really stated how you might want to use the device (analog or SIP) with the 412 and what the concerns might be.
If wanting to use analog, it seems pretty straight forward, although 2 lines is limiting, If wanting to use SIP, then perhaps another story.
Hello,
Thank you for the further questions.
I would like to use the system for Internet telephony.
The Yeastar S412 should be connected directly to a router "Speedport Smart3". The connection comes from TELEKOM.
If someone should have appropriate references for the mechanism with this equipment composition, I would be pleased about an information very much.
Thank you.
Greetings Ralph
You should review the manual for the 412 as it will provide more info about the steps to hook up and how to manage calls.
It looks like it is possible to have SIP trunk service. Here is a case you might refer https://help.yeastar.com/en/s-series/topic/dedicated-sip-trunking.html
But the key is that does the provider offer telephony service. You please confirm it with your provider Telekom.
