Yeastar Presence setting

I know to can change the PRESENCE setting from the LINKUS app or on your desktop, but can you change the PRESENCE setting from your YEALINK phone?

Example user is using desk phone they are about to leave they could just select a button on the Yealink phone to change PRESENCE setting

  There are no dial codes available at this time that I am aware of.

  I found a note about the DND synchroizing:

  • Added support for synchronizing DND settings on PBX and Yealink IP phones.

  Then I try to test on my S100. It's amazing that, when I pressed DND on my Yealink IP phone. The DND state update on PBX extension settings. Also the state change on Linkus. Then I tried to set DND on Linkus, the IP phone updated the DND state.

  But it seems only DND state would synchronized.

  Maybe it is helpful for you.

  I think it is easier to change the Presence setting through Linkus, isn't it?

  Yes, if Linkus is installed on a desktop that is associated to the extension trying to be manipulated, but perhaps such is not the case and other systems allow presence manipulation by dial code. Perhaps Yeastar will add the feature to do so. It may prove particularly useful for teleworkers where one does not have direct access to a personally owned PC at a workers home. While the remote worker may not be able to see other's presence, at least they could inform others about their's.

  It certainly has no technical background that this feature is missing. Yeastar wants to sell Linkus.
  Because every system can do this. No matter if Pascom, 3XC, Phonalisa, Starface, FreePBX, Bintec, many more.
  Either I have a telephone or a PC client, in practice, I do not need both. Unless the Linkus client has added features, more features like other vendors have e.g. log in /out agents in the queue, call forwarding , mobile connection, status of registered agents from the queues, conference, TAPI, Click2 Dial etc.
  All that is missing in the Linkus and makes it useless.

  As long as Linkus does not have any of these features, what does it matter to me?
  Telephoning on the PC? Nothing more? Any freeware CTI client can do that.
