It would be great if the event center is the S-serie PBX could notify the administrator when a SIP phone lost the registration.
We have a lot of cutomers with intercom phones connected to a S-serie PBX on a remote location. It woud be nice to have that information so they know that the intercom is unavailable so that they can send a engineer to fix the problem.

We use the PBX S-Series for events, now when a cable gets broken we don't get a notify that the phones are disconnected.
Loss of extension registration is a needed event no different than the existing loss of trunk registration which is included in the existing event settings. Given that the system may be used in deployments where an extension may have a need to call an emergency number , it strikes me as strange that such reporting of active, but un-registered extensions is not reported.

I think you need specific extension report, but not for all right? Suppose a general option for all, if power failure, it would have massive reports for you. That's not good.
I would prefer to know of each extension that fails to register. If this means 100 or more emails, so be it. I get these somewhat frequently when bad weather hits and I have no issue with them.
I have clients all over. If something should happen that causes a large number of extensions to go off-line, a bad switch, for example, or a number of phones at a remote site, why would I not want to know; because I do not want the emails? My reaction of how I deal with one phone versus a number of phones may elicit a different response with more concern about the latter. I personally have no issue with the emails, I can always group them and delete as a group. The emails will at least give me an idea if there is an issue with one, a couple or a few phones or an even more catastrophic issue.
However, if you get the PBX to monitor a UPS and see when the UPS is providing power and send a notice of same and at which point it ignores any extension registration issues until such time as the power is restored to normal, then I am all in with you. I will then only see the recovery of those extensions that were down.
