Ability to call an outside nuumber when recording a custom or user prompt

Even with ring simultaneously turned on, an outside number will not ring when you need to record a prompt.  Not all customers have an a microphone on thier PC to be able to record a prompt.  If the SPBX could also call an outside number for the recording of a prompt this would solve many issues for both remote workers and administrators that need to record prompts.  Seems like a simple thing to do if you can already make an incoming call to a user ring an outside number.

  Did you try ring an IP phone and record a prompt through an IP phone?

  Thanks. Yes this can be done.  Most customers of ours are not using remote phones or apps.  If you could enter a number for the system to call you on to record a prompt this solves a big issue.  Also SIM ring will not call the sim number even if enabled.  This would be just as good.
