Hi,

now I've downgraded MyPBX S from existing 30.8.0.14 to 30.5.0.24.1 in my lab .

It's seems, that procedure is ok.

But anyway I'm scared about functionality.

Please, could you be so helpful to develop new SW e.g. 30.8.0.14.1 for that function Follow me to External Number (302 moved)?

If you wanna to support 302 move, 30.5.0.24.1 is the only way to achieve this.
Downgrade won't cause problems since we are testing that many times.
Downgrade will only affect newer functions in 30.8.0.14 compared to 30.5.0.24.1.

There can be any problems.

I have discussed your request with our R&D department.
They have only developed 1 beta version that could support 302 move in 30.5.0.24.1 so far, and no further plan for another beta version.
So you may have to continue use 30.5.0.24.1 for customers need.

Hi,

We are very grateful, that one year ago you successfully developed beta version for MyPBX S (30.5.0.24.1) and two years ago Standard V6/V7 (20.19.60.44-beta01) and MyPBX U100 (15.19.60.44-beta01) for new function Follow me to External Number (302 moved)! Thanks.

But we have another request/question for "newer" MyPBX S-Series 30.8.0.14.

I've tested with Model S300 with the latest SW 30.8.0.14, but I can't find solution. We have a lot of customers, who want that funcion.

Please, could you develop beta version with the same new function - for that S-Series?

Could you read all three e-mails below?

Hi,

now I've tested on our device new firmware beta version 30.5.0.24.1, which support 302 move.

All three Call Forwardings works good: Always, No Answer amd When Busy - mobile side C see true A-number.

Hi,
I've got a good news for you. Our engineer developed a beta version that could support 302 move, please follow the steps below in order to test on your device.
1. save a backup file of 30.5.0.30 on your PC desktop in case we need to restore this backup for your future needs;
2. download the 30.5.0.24.1.bin firmware version, do not unzip it, afterwards, please upload the .bin file in order to update

Hi,

Yes I mean that function 'call forward', but also function Follow me to External Number (302 moved) that mobile side see right A-number.

For example:

external number (mobile side A e.g. 042800486) --> call to MyPBX S100 via sip trunk to extension 901 (phone B e.g. 059693901) --> which has always forward to external number (another mobile side C e.g. 041401886)

and mobile side C (041401886) see wrong number - B number or "Caller ID number on trunk" (059693900) instead A number (042800486).

Abby Lin successfully developed beta version for MyPBX Standard V6/V7 (20.19.60.44-beta01) and MyPBX U100 (15.19.60.44-beta01) for that new function Follow me to External Number (302 moved)! See attached mail.

Is there any option to develop version with the same new function - for that S-Series?

Since your feature request is quite long, I am not sure if I missed anything here.

If what you want is trying to make external number which receives forwarded call to see correct number of originator Caller ID, I will suggest you set up Trunks - Advanced - Transfer Parameter to be "The Originator Caller ID". Depends on the SIP Trunk provider, you may change Diversion or From accordingly.

This function is supported in S series PBX version 30.9.0.9 or above.

Please check if this helps.

Our providers and almost all PBX brands (Mitel, 3CX, Bintec, etc. ....) support call deflection (SIP code 302)

If a call is diverted by Yeastar, 2 call channels are required. 1 incoming and 1 outgoing.

But if a call is forwarded with the SIP code 302, the call is reflected by the PBX and the provider forwards the call to the destination. So only 1 and not 2 call channels with the Provider is needed.

Most providers rent call channels with flatrates. If the PBX 302-Code supports, fewer call channels are needed. Therefore, this feature is very important to us.

It is a pity that there was a beta firmware from Yeastar, which had integrated this function and also worked perfectly. Why was not this integrated into the official firmware?

+1 for this feature. We currently only have 2 lines - when forwarding a call, there is none left. Additionally, we have an encoding problem here (2 different codecs -> one way audio) and the Yeastar does not transcode correctly.

Do you enable always forward to the mobile number in the extension setting?

We have a temporary firmware that can send 302 to the provider in that scenario.

Hi Eric-Jiang,

thank you for asking. We have two use cases:

- we enable "always forward to mobile" at an extension but would like other extensions in the same queue to still ring simultaneously (whoever picks up first, on-site or off-site, gets the call)

- we forward calls manually from mobile phones to other mobile phones

I guess sending a 302 to the provider does not help in either scenario, right?

The 302 will only be used by the call-forwarded scenario which means the call will be forwarded before being answered.

The second scenario is call transfer.
