I'm using NeoGate TG800.
I'd like to ask if it supports calling and receiving calls using a softphone.
What is the best softphone that is free where I can track the calls made, calls received, listen to calls, etc.

As you indicate that you are already using it, can you explain how?
There are a number of available softphones, but you did not mention which platform is desired - Windows, Android, iOS, etc. I am not sure what is meant by "listen to calls" as I assume that if you can make and take calls, by definition you can listen to same. If you mean barge-in, spy, listen to recorded voice mails, this is more a function of a PBX.
The issue with free is that it is just that and many are watered down editions of their paid for brethren. They may limit some of the functionality and constantly nag you from within the app itself to consider getting the paid edition.
The reason I ask how do you use it now, is because the device is meant to be connected to a SIP server (IP-PBX) and act as a gateway between the GSM provider and PBX. It is expected to be connected 100% of the time. In essence, you are trying to make it into a SIP server for your endpoints, much as a IP-PBX would be. Using a softphone might be workable if the softphone is able to maintain a constant connection. This is a big consideration if the softphone client is on a cellular device. Battery life is apt to be considerably affected. Also, regardless of softphone type, what happens if the softphone is not able to get the call - offline, out of range or other?
While it may be possible, there are unanswered questions, but then I really wonder how you intend to use a 8ch gateway with a softphone? Assuming you have it use now, why the change?

As of now, I can only send and receive sms via web application I created running in windows.
I am creating a web application for the call center department of my company.
So I need to find a way to send and receive sms and calls via web application I am using.
