Configure a TG400 for WCDMA 850

No luck getting a TG400 to work here in Australia, Telstra or Optus, Tried 4 different new 3G/4G SIM cards and known active 4G/3G SIM card
Telstra (Mobilenet ISP here) say their Mobilenet is WCDMA 850
the TG400 Doco alludes this is possible, however in the Menu/advanced settings there is only talk of GSM
How do I switch to WCDMA in the Yeastar TGXXX??
Does it require special firmware?
Or will these models not work in Australia
