Larry Neblett This dialing is somewhat akin to using a mobile/cell phone.
The delay is commonly referred to as "inter-digit timeout". Unlike a PSTN network, where they use predictive dialing with set patterns, cell phones and SIP phones are "unaware" of the dial pattern that may be used as they may be located anywhere in the world and the PBX or SIP provider somewhere else.
As a result, you must put in the desired dial string and hit #/send/dial, etc., or wait until the timeout occurs at which point the device will then dial the string. Simply put, the devices are not aware of what constitutes a local, national or international dial-string which then requires the user to tell the device what is valid by initiating the call with the "send" function.
You can shorten the period, but this raises the odds that the device may dial before the user has entered in the complete string (such as might occur when having to read a number while inputting same).
You can possibly modify the dial plan within the phone such that when it sees a valid string, it may be forced to dial, but this requires you to know all the variations that might come up and determine how to prevent the phone from dialing what it believes to be a valid number when in fact it may not be the number the user intended.
In other words, the caller inputs 19135431234, but you do not want the phone to start dialing when it sees 19133543 or any other sub-part of the longer number.

Larry Neblett My apologies.
I do not use the TA3200, so I had assumed it to have the same or similar settings as other gateways in this class. I see the delay setting for the Hotline, but this hardly helps you.
In fact, I saw nothing that related to the issue to include how long it might take after the dial string is entered before it auto-dials same.
While the dial delay is seemingly related to the hotline function. I suppose it would not do any harm to try changing the value to see what happens.
Otherwise, I can only suggest submitting to Yeastar support and see what they can come up with.
