I have a customer that I am installing a S20. They have 10 Cisco spa303 phones. The telephone systems will not find them. I have upgraded the Auto Provisioning to the latest version, I have set the S20 to DHCP server. I defaulted the spa303 phones and they boot with an IP from the telephone system, When I go into the Auto Provisioning program and scan for the phones they will not show up. I searched for the Ip address and will not find also will not find MAC address. Not sure what to do sold system on we could us the customers current telephones.

Larry Neblett The 303 is an entry level phone and depending on the firmware version, may not support discovery. You should determine the firmware version(s) and then review the release notes from CISCO to see which, if any, version supports the function. They do support CDP, but this is the CISCO Discovery Protocol which is only used by their version of PBX.
If there is no support, then you will need to scan the LAN segment and check the MAC to see which are the phones and then manually populate the config server field in order to get the phones to retrieve their settings from the S20.

ANACOMM SYSTEMS - Andrew Waddle Thanks for the reply. Good reason to sell them some new phones.
