Clarification about the API

Hello, I would like to ask about the new Feature that you have added in the API of S-Series firmware 30.7.0.35, which says

 

• Added support for configuring an extension’s outbound route.

Τo achieve this I have to use this option

[callrestriction]

Enable or disable Outbound Dialing Restriction

on: enable off: disable

from the documentation of the API(https://www.yeastar.com/s-series_voip_pbx_api_developer_guide_en/api_sample/extension/configure-an-individual-extension.html) .

  Sorry, but I do not see a question. However, the string you posted merely provides for a way, via the API, to either allow or deny an extension's capability to make an outside call. 

  If you look at an extension setting within the PBX and go to the call permission tab, you will see a check box for "outbound restriction" and this is the setting that is being addressed by the statement above.

  The route is determined by the dialing rules for the PBX and which Trunks an extension is allowed to access. You can use the API to cause an extension to dial an external number, which will then use the pre-defined rules for  dialing and then pass the call to the allowed trunk.
