I tested the Linkus integration with Teams. The user experience is really very bad, it opens a web browser window with each call, and above all, we don't receive any calls if the web browser is closed !
So why not use this Teams integration to call part of the Linkus Lite UC application and receive and make calls?
This requires a double installation, but at least the integration with Teams could be “transparent” in the eyes of the user.
The MS Teams application does not allow an add-in to run in the background. If you want to keep it running, you need to pop up the Linkus app window (by clicking the pop-up button in the top right corner in Teams App, so that MS Teams will not control and close it.
However,
This is a limitation caused by microsoft and not an issue of yeastar.
Since this is related to how MS Teams run add-ins, and MS Teams may not allow to add this features.
