Surprisingly I did NOT see any feature codes to BLOCK outgoing Caller ID from the S20.
Normally *67 blocks caller ID and *68 allows caller ID on PSTN.
How do we activate feature codes on standard PSTN lines connected to the FXO ports for the S20?

I too do not see a code for CID block. However, depending on the country, the call on a PSTN may need to be done with a code sent to the provider and not to the PBX as the provider may control CID. This may not be the case in your instance, but was not sure.........but to your point, in other systems, this function is normally available.
I understand how to modify dial plans in order to send codes to a provider as I indicated the process of what may need to happen by stating "the call on a PSTN may need to be done with a code sent to the provider", but as I also stated, in other IP-PBX systems (as the original poster also noted) there is a dial code that is used to block CID that is lacking in the S20 series.
Granted, if the provider is controlling CID, the dial code may or may not stop it as some locales or providers may not allow. However, the dial code at the PBX level will stop the sending of CID if using SIP and in countries like Canada where some PSTN providers will allow user control of CID at the user/PBX level. Actually, I was not aware of this possibility (Canada), but found out about it when trying to help someone else on a different IP-PBX forum.
In any event, thanks for pointing out the other link.
