Third Party SIP Softphone

Hi,

I work for a VOIP company called AE40. One of our customer thinks of buying Yeastar PBX and using our software that includes a SIP softphone.

Questions:

1. Do you support third party SIP softphones?

2. Is it possible to make a call-transfer by sending a REFER message from our softphone to your PBX.

3. Is it possible to put a call on hold by sending SDP with "sendonly" from our softphone to your PBX?

  See here for the list of IP phones (including SIP soft phone) that has been tested by Yeastar:

  For your questions, I think it is possible but I would suggest you to test first or contact Yeastar team to have a interoperability testing.

  Hi Gregory,

  I would suggest you to submit a ticket and ask if Yeastar Support team can create some test accounts for you.
