Is it possible to create a list of names and phone numbers that the caller ID system can use for lookup purposes? My family has a bunch of cell phones that when they call home we just see the number with no name. Under FreePBX I could add a custom lookup list that the caller ID system would check first.
Example list:
Mom 6035551212
Dad 6035551213
Son 6035551214
Daughter 6035551215

If this doesn't work for you, perhaps you can do this with the custom_extension.conf and set the callername to mom and let the callerid 6035551212.

At the moment I have used the LDAP system and the phones that can are now pointing to the LDAP for their address book. Unfortunately not all my phones can use LDAP for an address book.
