there is an option in Yeastar MyPBX to display transferer or transferee, when a call is transfered, (PBX/Basic settings/General Preferences/ Attended Transfer Caller ID)
is it possible to display both transferer and transferee when a call is transfered? (used phones are yealink T46).
(transfer is done at phone level)
We would this option to. Our customers are asking for this feature to.
S-Series now have one option where you can set it to Auto and the system would first show the transferor number and after transfer, the tranferee number, but it doesn't seem to be working. I always get the transferor number.
@Pedro We've tried the Auto option however can't seem to make it work on our S50. Incoming call gets transferred to another extension and it still shows the caller ID of the transferring extension, never the external caller's ID. Have played with may of the options and it's never worked. All our trunks are SIP.
With S Series PBX, the option Auto works when check below two settings on SIP setting page:
Note: I believe this feature must be supported by the IP phone as well. My yeastar support representative told me they test with Yealink, Akuvox and Acaltel Business phone and they works with this feature.
Thanks Oscar, checked the extra two options but still doesn't work. Can see external caller ID on original answer but still not on extension the call is transferred to. We are using Cisco SPA525G IP phones with latest firmware.
John, Cisco might not work with this feature. What I tested with was Yealink T27 with firmware version 45.80.0.60 and it worked properly.
Thanks Oscar, hopefully its not the Cisco. These IP phones have every feature under the sun so hopefully it's not such a basic limitation. I've provided Yeastar support all our config files for the S50 and the SPA525Gs so will see what they say.

does this also work with MyPBX U100 and Yealink T46/T41 phones?
I have tested the settings given by Oskar, but is doesnt work on our Yealink T46S/T41P phones (latest firmware version 66.81.188.7) en the U50 has also the latest version
Maybe we have set something in the Yealink phones.

We got it displaying properly on our SPA525G but only with Blind Transfer, not with Attended Transfer. Tried all the setting combinations on the S50. Made no difference. Have now changed the phone soft keys to default to a Blind Transfer. Still works okay for us as we never announce the transfers anyway.
