Speed Dial "0" to a Local Extension

If our hotel guests wants to reach the operator, is there a way in the IP-PBX to have them dial ZERO "0" to reach the operator (ext.700) ?

Changing the operator extension to ZERO is okay with us but the IP-PBX errors out saying "Extension length should be between 2 and 5 characters". Speed dial feature itself is also unacceptable because they would have to dial the PREFIX first (*99) which beats the purpose of the speed dial.

Is there a way around this?

  I don't know what kind of phones you use.

  I created something like you ask, with dial rule in the phone wat replaces the 0 to 700

  Yes, I think setup this from IP phone is one way to support dial 0 to operator.

  Create a outbound route and route the call to operator extension (1000 in this example)
